Custom Sauna Questions, Answered

Our six standard models run from $12,900 plus tax for a 6.5 × 9 with a 2 ft porch up to $22,500 plus tax for an 8 × 16 with a change room and deck. Prices include cedar inside and out, an installed Harvia wood stove, and free delivery within 30 miles of Bemidji. Custom sizes and upgrades are quoted individually.

Sales tax, delivery beyond 30 miles of Bemidji, and a level spot to set the sauna. If you choose an electric heater, you will also need an electrician to run power to it. Wood-fired saunas need nothing but firewood.

We build a limited number of saunas each year, one at a time, and the build list fills each season. Reach out early and Darren will tell you where the next open build slot is.

Yes. Every sauna is built to order. You choose the size, porch or change room, window placement, bench layout, heater, siding, stain and roof color, plus extras like towel shelves, hooks, lighting and an attached woodshed.

No. Each sauna is framed, sided, insulated, paneled and fitted with benches and a stove in our Bemidji shop, then delivered fully assembled. There is nothing for you to put together.

Yes. Delivery is free within 30 miles of Bemidji. Beyond that we deliver across Minnesota for a distance-based fee, which we include in your quote.

A level, well-drained spot and a clear path wide enough for a trailer to back in. Many customers use a compacted gravel pad or pavers. Tell us about your site when you request a quote and we will talk through the best base and access for your property.

It depends on your township, city or county, and on lakeshore setback rules if you are near the water. Check with your local zoning office before delivery. We are happy to share sauna dimensions and details for your application.

Yes. The stove is installed before it leaves the shop. Once it is set in place, you can fire it up the same day.

A Harvia wood stove is standard and is what most northern Minnesota customers choose: no wiring, works when the power is out, and gives that classic soft wood heat. Electric heaters are available on the 6.5 × 9 and 6.5 × 12 if you prefer push-button convenience.

That is what we build them for. Walls are insulated and foil-lined so the stove heats the room efficiently even in deep cold, and a porch or change room gives you a sheltered place to step out.

Inside, keep it simple: wipe benches, let the sauna air out after use, and never varnish the hot room. Outside, many owners apply a cedar stain to keep the color and protect the siding. Ask us about stain options when you order.
